Myles Martel at Corinthian Yacht Club Art Show – August 2014

Myles Martel was one of several artists invited to display their works at an art show held at The Corinthian Yacht Club in Cape May on August 9, 2014. Prints of his pencil portrait of Lincoln, “Bound for Gettysburg” are in the private collections of many prominent individuals, including the Governor of Pennsylvania and a Justice of The United States Supreme Court.

Dr. Martel published this Op-Ed piece on February 12, 2013 – Lincoln’s birthday – in the Philadelphia Inquirer.  It also mentions the upcoming “In Lincoln’s Footsteps” contest to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address – to take place on November 19th in Gettysburg.
